  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget that we’re now in our 1st Wolf Time rotation — so make sure you know where to go.  Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Attention WMS Tennis Team!!  Today is the first day of the County Championships! Participants are reminded to meet at the bus loop at 11:30 for the trip to Bluemont Park.  See Ms. Hogwood or Mr. Mencarini with any questions.  Good luck, tennis players!!
    .
  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
    .
  • Calling all MUNNERS!! The Model UN club will meet TODAY during ASP 1 in room C105.  Participants will prepare for the upcoming conference, discuss proper attire, and view some example position papers.  All are welcome to attend!  See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
    .
  • He shoots, he scores!! Boys Soccer will be holding tryouts starting this WEDNESDAY after school on the turf fields.  But interested athletes MUST have their physicals turned-in by TODAY to participate.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • WMS is all about UNITY!   All students and staff are asked to wear ORANGE for UNITY DAY this Wednesday in recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month.  Once again, show your Wolf Pack Pride by rocking ORANGE this Wednesday.
    .
  • Who wants CANDY???  The Halloween Candy Elite 8 is now posted in the WMS Library Canvas course. Which candy will reign supreme?  Cast your vote between now and Wednesday — and may the best candy win!!
    .
  • Who wants to PIE YOUR TEACHER?!?  Three staff members from each grade are putting themselves on the block for the WMS SCA “Pie in the Face Fundraiser!”  Starting TODAY, students can vote on which teacher gets the pie by donating money to that teacher’s box in the cafeteria.
    .
  • And whichever teacher raises the most money gets PIED in front of the whole grade! All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, so it’s a pie for a good cause.  So be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride — and Pie Your Teacher for charity!!
    .
  • And finally — it’s nearly time for Parent-Teacher Conferences!!  This THURSDAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm, and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30am, parents and guardians are invited to meet VIRTUALLY with all of your teachers on MS Teams.
    .
Just tell your folks to register for a slot using “Sign-Up Genius” through the WMS website, or ask your TA teacher for more information.  Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!
