Calling all actors, singers, dancers, and crew! We’ve got a special guest in the WOLF-TV studio today, with a special message for YOU!! Everybody say “hello” to Ms. Maconaughey!!

MS. MAC: Good morning, Wolves! I’m Ms. Mac, and I’m the Theatre Teacher here at WMS! This year, our Spring production is “Shrek, Jr. — The Musical!” You know: Shrek, Donkey, Lord Farquad, Fiona — it’s the whole group from the movie… but in a live show!

Today, I’m making an “open call” for performers. 6th graders, 7th graders, and 8th graders. Singers, dancers, and actors. Whether you’ve been performing all your life — or if you’d just like to try something new. Shrek, Jr. needs YOU!!

Auditions are next Monday and Tuesday during ASP 1 and 2 in the auditorium. Just scan the QR code outside of the theater to sign-up, and for more information about how to prepare.

One more thing: we’re also looking for Tech and Artistic Coordinators to help produce the show — so stay tuned for more information about that coming soon. I look forward to seeing you on stage for the auditions. And thanks for being a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!!

Attention all TAs in all grade levels! Due to the high number of absences during TA pictures last month, the Yearbook staff needs to do a LOT of retakes. Here’s the rundown: 6th grade TAs are TODAY; 8th grade TAs will be next WEDNESDAY, January 11th; and 7th grade TAs will be next FRIDAY, January 13th. Any remaining pictures will be scheduled individually. Thanks for your cooperation! See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions.

If you were on the Boys Soccer team last fall, you MUST return your uniform to Ms. Hogwood’s office — room 110 — by the end-of-the-day TODAY. Once again, please return your boys soccer uniforms TODAY!
