  • I hope you enjoyed that snow day, everybody, because now it’s time to get back to business!  We will be on a MODIFIED bell-schedule today, so make sure to check with your TA teacher for class times. Also, there is NO Wolf Time this morning, so you’ll be going straight to 1st period.  And a reminder to 6th graders — today is an ‘A’ Day, an A-Day schedule.  And finally, if you have any classes in the trailers, PLEASE remember to bundle-up and wear a jacket.
    .
  • Due to our late start today, the 7th grade Wizards team will be having its “refocus assembly” on MONDAY during 1st period.  In the meantime, do your best to stay “focused” on your own!
    .
  • It’s all about “trial and error.” The WMS Science Fair is gearing up for its big competition — TOMORROW, Saturday, January 6th. There will be an open-house for students, parents and community members from 8 to 8:30 a.m. — where you can see all of the incredible science projects for yourself. And then the doors will close at 8:45 for judging, which runs until noon. So come on out, support your friends, and celebrate science!!
    .
  • The Kindness Club has a pair of meetings scheduled for this month — on January 9th and 23rd. All are welcome to participate — new members and old — as they brainstorm ideas for the new year. See Ms. Schaefer with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all artists, musicians, and technology-lovers! If you’re looking for something to do after school next semester, the Williamsburg after school program — aka ACT 2 — could be for you! Watch for more information on the announcements coming soon!
    .
  • Attention Model UN Club!  There will be a pair of mandatory meetings next week for all students participating in the upcoming Gar-Field Conference — on TUESDAY and THURSDAY, both during ASP 1 in room 202.  See Ms. Carlson with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a buss pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
