- Once again, the wild winter weather has resulted in a delayed opening — so we will be running on a modified schedule today. Be sure to check with your TA teachers for class and lunch times. And remember — there is NO Wolf Time today, so please proceed directly to your 1st period class following the Morning Announcements. Thanks, polar vortex!!
. - Attention 6th graders in the TAB Club! There will be a special meeting TODAY at lunch in the library — but ONLY for those 6th graders who have already signed up. Again, today’s 6th grade TAB meeting is just for students who have registered for the event. See Ms. Lord with any questions.
. - And now for an update on the WMS Spring Musical — “Alice in Wonderland, Junior!” Both the TECH and STAGE readings have been rescheduled for this THURSDAY during ASP 1 and 2 in the auditorium. This will be a COMBINED REHEARSAL for EVERYONE involved with the show. See Mr. Brown for more information or with any questions. Break a leg!
. - And now for an important announcement for all students who are competing in the Virginia Junior Academy of Science — or VJAS, for short. There will now be a MANDATORY meeting on THURSDAY in room WW 22 during Wolf Time. If you are not able to make it, please be sure to see Mrs. Warden as soon as possible. Once again, the VJAS meeting has been rescheduled for first thing THURSDAY morning in room WW 22.
. - Calling all 7th grade Journalism students from the 1st semester! Don’t forget about this Friday’s “Screening Party” during lunch in the Library Classroom. Just be sure to RSVP and bring 3-dollars by this THURSDAY — to guarantee there’s enough pizza for everyone! See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions.
. - This is a reminder to all Math Counts participants that the Math Counts Competition is this SATURDAY at 11 a.m. at George Mason University. See Mr. Mencarini for more information, or with any questions. We’re “counting” on you, math wolves!!
