  • Today, most of the school will be taking the Growth Assessment Survey for Math.  To accommodate testing, we will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8am, and then you’ll proceed to your testing location.  Following the test, you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
And here’s some more information about the test: The ONLY materials you may have with you are your iPad, a bottle of water, and a book.  NO OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES are allowed — no phones, smart watches, e-readers, nor anything else.  TA teachers will provide you with your testing location.  If you’re not testing today, please proceed to the Auditorium. Thanks for your cooperation, and GOOD LUCK, WOLVES!!

  • Calling all scientists, technicians, engineers, and mathematicians!! If you are participating in the Virginia Junior Academy of Science, there will be a meeting next MONDAY, January 23rd in room 115 during FLEX.  Once again, the next VJAS meeting is next Monday.  See Ms. Warden if your are unable to attend, or with any other questions.
    .
  • The end of the 2nd quarter is next week.  And you know what that means — it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!  Students are reminded to put your Wolf Paws in your grade-level box located outside of the cafeteria by Wednesday, January 25th. And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library. There’s some great stuff in there — so stop dawdling and turn in your Paws!
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch.  Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus!  See Ms. Walten in the office with any questions.
