Attention TAs! Today is the LAST DAY of TA Pictures for the 2023 Yearbook. Here’s the rundown — in 6th grade: Ms. Hussey; in 7th grade: Ms. Coia, Mr. Eason, Mr. Feeney, Mr. Girard, Ms. Lawrence, Ms. Post, Mr. Witte, and Ms. Young; and in 8th grade: Mr. Luengo, Ms. Martir, and Ms. Miller. Thanks for your cooperation. And say CHEESE!!

Hey, sports fans! The WMS wrestling team is kicking-off its season this THURSDAY at 3:30 in the main gym. This will be the ONLY home match of the entire season — so students and staff are encouraged to come on out, pack the stands, and root them on to VICTORY! Thanks for supporting the WMS wrestling team, and GO WOLVES!!!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! Students will taking their Growth Assessment surveys in Reading and Math this THURSDAY and FRIDAY — so your iPad needs to be working! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech Help Request” form through the WMS website. And don’t forget to plug-in your iPad tonight so that it’s fully charged for the test. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!

Calling all scientists, technicians, engineers, and mathematicians!! If you are participating in the Virginia Junior Academy of Science, there will be a meeting next MONDAY, January 23rd in room 115 during FLEX. Once again, the next VJAS meeting is next Monday. See Ms. Warden if your are unable to attend, or with any other questions.

The end of the 2nd quarter is next week. And you know what that means — it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!! Students are reminded to put your Wolf Paws in your grade-level box located outside of the cafeteria by Wednesday, January 25th. And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library. There’s some great stuff in there — so stop dawdling and turn in your Paws!
