  • What a wild winter we’re having!  It’s our first day back from our first big snow — but things are not quite back to normal. Today is an EARLY RELEASE DAY at WMS, so we’ll be following a shortened schedule. Be advised that TA will end promptly at 8 A.M., and the school day will be over at 11:54. Be sure to check with your TA teacher for your class schedule and lunch period. Hooray for the short day!!

  • And now for an important announcement for all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel.  Due to the snow days this week, your current elective rotation will hold its final class TODAY — and your new class will begin TOMORROW.  Once again, 6th graders should go to your regular Wheel class today.

  • Calling all TAB members!  The TAB yearbook photo has been rescheduled for NEXT FRIDAY — January 25th — during Wolf Time in the Library.  Again, TAB members from all grade levels should report to the library following the announcements on January 25th to take a yearbook photo.  See Ms. Lord with any questions.

  • Looking for something to do after school next semester? Join Mr. Dudek’s ACT II Class – Inventions and Innovations — every Tuesday and Thursday during ASP 1 and 2 in the Tech Ed room. YOU could be the next Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs or Elon Musk. There are flyers posted around the school with more information — or see Mr. Dudek with any questions.  What will you invent?!
    .
  • Attention MODEL UN CLUB – Please return your commitment forms and get a spot for KIL-MUN by this Thusday’s meeting at the latest. There are some great committees available at this conference for both beginners and experienced members — so don’t miss out! See Mrs. Carlson with any questions.

  • And now for an update on the Spring Musical — Alice in Wonderland, Jr!  The cast list will be posted this FRIDAY by the backstage entrance. If you auditioned for the show, be sure to stop by and take a look!  And here’s the first rehearsal schedule:  “Off Stage” students will have a read-through next THURSDAY, January 24th — and “On Stage” students will have theirs on TUESDAY, January 29th.  See Mr. Brown with any questions or for more information.

  • And finally today — I am woman, hear me roar!  Student-reporters Sarah C. and Maddie M. are “breaking the glass ceiling” with this report on women’s issues from around the world.  It’s time for “Girl Talk” on WOLF-TV!
