Dear Parent/Guardian of a Rising 6th Grade Student:
Let us first begin by welcoming you to Williamsburg Middle School. We are looking forward to partnering with you for a wonderful transition from elementary to middle school. This spring, we had the opportunity to meet your children, and many of you, through informal talks at PTA meetings, 6th grade orientations, and other transition meetings in various locations. PALS Day is an opportunity for your child to receive their schedule, locker number and combination, and agenda before school opens on Tuesday, September 3rd.
We will like to invite your student and you in joining us for PALS Day on Thursday, August 29, 2019 with the following team schedule:
|PALS Day Agenda|
$10.00 for shorts
Students will walk-through their schedule and meet their TA teacher to learn more about expectations for the upcoming school year. We encourage students to bring their school supplies to store and organize their locker that will be shared with one other student. PALS Day consists of activities designed for students to acclimate to WMS and transition smoothly into the first day of school. PALS Day will conclude with snacks in the cafeteria.
There will be time to ask questions and address concerns about your student transitioning to Williamsburg Middle School. Please see the attached letter for your counselor, team, and TA teacher. We look forward to seeing you at PALS day!
