- “Every HERO needs a squad!!” The WMS Check-In Program is hosting a Bake Sale — TODAY after school in the main lobby and by the cafeteria. Everything is just a buck or two. All money raised will go to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients fundraiser — which is working to find a cure for blood cancer.
.
Pennies for Patients will run all month long, with the goal of raising 5-THOUSAND dollars. And here’s a little extra motivation for you: whichever TA collects the most money will get a free pizza and ice cream party!! So once again, be sure to stop by today’s Pennies for Patients BAKE SALE — and get a SWEET TREAT before heading off to Spring Break. See Ms. Kia with any questions. And remember — every penny counts!!
. - Attention all SCA officers and representatives! There will be a MANDATORY meeting TODAY in room 215 beginning at 8 a.m. Again, this will be a VERY important meeting, so all officers and reps need to come immediately following the Morning Announcements. See Mr. Tagert or Mr. Peacock with any questions.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! Before leaving for your vacation today — be sure to write down the PASSCODE to your iPad. Even better, share it with your parents tonight! Here’s the deal: if you forget your passcode or enter the wrong one too many times — you will disable your iPad and it will have to be WIPED. So again, do us all a favor — and WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSCODE!!
. - And here’s our weekly a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
