  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all nature lovers!!  Do you like spending time in the WMS courtyard?  Would you like to help make it a healthy habitat for turtles, toads, and birds?  Then come to the Courtyard Keepers — every Monday during ASP 1 in room 111.  YOU can make a difference.  See Ms. Zarro with any questions.
    .
  • Get ready for a book bonanza!! The PTA Scholastic Book Fair is coming to WMS — starting this TUESDAY in the WMS Library.  Students will be visiting the Fair with their English and Reading classes, but you may also go before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. The Book Fair will also be open in before-and-after tomorrow’s Winter Choir Concert.  See our school librarians for more information. And thanks for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!!

  • Calling all athletes!  If you plan on participating in wrestling or Boys Basketball this winter, you MUST submit your sports physical by FRIDAY, December 20th.  Please place all forms in the yellow mailbox outside of the Activities Office.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic!  It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE!  First — WASH YOUR HANDS!!  Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.  And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME.  Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread.  See our school nurse with any questions.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  Congratulations to the WMS Model UN Team for bringing home some serious hardware at their very first conference of the year at George Washington University last weekend.
    .
Big props to 7th grader Sarah C. who scored an honorable mention for representing Vice-President Dan Quayle in the 1991 Gulf War Cabinet Room.  And to all 10 of our WMS delegates who participated in NINE different committees — and made our school proud.  Way to go, MUNNER wolves!!  [clap]

  • And finally, middle school is a family affair — especially if you go to school with your brother or sister!

Student-reporters Niko and Madison are up next with this special sibling story.
